Multimedia Syllabus

Multimedia will concentrate on Macromedia Dreamweaver (a web designing program), Fireworks (a photo editing program), and Flash (an animation program). As time permits other programs may be introduced. Concepts such as layout, typography, accessibility, asthetics, and more will be discussed.

Students will have journal entries, projects, labs, online reviews, end-of-chapter tests, a unit test, and an exam.

The class room setting will be centered on hands-on work rather than lectures. Many examples will be demonstrated using a data projector, and students will often be asked to first WATCH and LISTEN, then to WATCH and DO, then to DO on their own. The teacher will be a facilitator, but we will all learn together.

Attentive behavior and alert minds are expected each day.

A few links for Dreamweaver are below. More will be added that relate to the CS3 versions of our programs.
