I have taught in SC public schools for 35 years in the areas of life science, earth science, physical science, chemistry, web design, and multimedia. I am certified in Middle School Science, Biology, Life Science, Business Education, and Information Technology. I own a web design business through which I design web sites, take and format digital photographs (specializing in outdoor shots), design brochures, business cards, trade show cards, greeting cards, and more. Creativity is my game; organization is just a name. Photography I do for fame; of my web designs, I have no shame. Teaching is a heart flame; but, I must admit, some days I wonder why I came. Actually, I love teaching those who are willing and ready to learn. I love learning and would wish that each of my students would feel the same. There are so many creative things to do in the world of computers that I am constantly learning and wanting to learn. I never have enough time to pursue all the programs that I would like to experiment with. For example, I am now learning Photodex ProGold and Photoshop Elements. I love working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. My favorite web design program is Dreamweaver. I also like making slide shows in MS PowerPoint, although it's not my top hobby. |
